ABOUT DONAMATRIX DAY
In 2018, The City of Petersburg proclaimed April 3rd as Donamatrix Day. Following the inauguration, Brooks has collaborated with The City to host a free community fitness festival. The Donamatrix Day Fit Fest is a fun wellness event for all ages, all abilities and all fitness levels. The curated vision Brooks offered for the fitness festival resembled a school’s field day aimed at shifting the view of exercise and movement from chore to enjoyable.
Donamatrix Training (DMT), a small minority-owned business + community, run by a father and daughter duo, was founded by fitness guru and philanthropist, Don ‘DB Donamatrix’ Brooks, over 20 years ago. The company’s most popular slogan is “Mind Right. Body Ready.” Donamatrix Training is driven by the 3 lifelong principles of DB Donamatrix-Discipline, Dedication and Determination. Brooks is the go-to fit pro for some of the world’s richest people.
